Inspirtational Wisdom You Can Put Into Action

I'm all about no-fluff and really enjoy the fact that My Philosophy for Successful Living is so short. I can read it over and over and never tire of it, and each time I get a bit more out of it. The best part is, the wisdom Jim Rohn shares pertains to anyone in any walk of life. You can take his words of inspiration and put them into action starting today.
One of the greatest nuggets of truth I took from this book is if you bring value to people then you will be rewarded. Sounds simple, doesn't it? And so, if I'm not being rewarded in some way then I ask myself if I've missed a step somewhere, have become lazy, or somehow shut myself off and I'm no longer bringing value to others. Sure enough, as soon as I step up my game the rewards come rolling in. Not just monetary rewards, but also in the form of friendship, happiness, and success in many other ways.
Definitely two thumbs up!

Successful Living AND Joyful Living!

Jim Rohn's book makes it obvious why he had such an impact on such great people. His philosophy hit home for me, not just the "success" side of life but the joyful side too. Without joy, what is the benefit of success?
You will learn to appreciate your life in ways you never thought possible by reading the nuggets throughout My Philosophy for Successful Living. This is life-changing but not because of a ton of things you learn, but rather because of the SIMPLICITY of what Jim explores here. His simple wisdom is what you will appreciate. Who thinks success is a complicated matter? It is not, but how you go about achieving success and joy can be complicated or simple - and the simple methods are what stick. Jim doesn't look for the get-rich schemes, he wants you to please your friends, family, and customers because by giving that value, you will be rewarded in turn. This book WILL change your approach to at least some things in your life and for the better when you read it.

Speaks Volumes - Something for you without a doubt

This is one of those books that comes along only about every 25-50 years. Dale Carnegie's How to Win Friends... was one of those before this. I love this kind of writing, sage advice, and tips that are timeless. They apply today as well as the time Jim Rohn wrote these words and even long before that. One thing that struck me as I read this was that I didn't even really have a personal philosophy. And I knew something was wrong but it was always below the surface. Without such a philosophy, or worldview, or focus, or foundation, how can you expect to achieve anything without a framework? Mr. Rohn goes into great detail - while still keeping the reading flowing quickly and easily - on how to develop a personal philosophy that allows you to achieve that which you want and need. No, you won't find empty promises in this book because it doesn't promise the world, it does however promise success in your endeavors once you align yourself with your goals and develop a philosophy for successful living.
